The final days of the May Ranked Play season are upon us and it’s time to unveil the monthly reward card that will be awarded to players on June 1!

As with all our monthly reward cards, reaching rank 9 in our ranked ladder by the end of May will award you one copy, rank 5 will earn you the second and if you finish rank 1 or higher you’ll get a full playset. In addition, if you’re able to finish in the top 1,000 Legend ranks, your playset will be premium!

Some players who keenly tracked the puzzle pieces posted by the @Sparkypants and @TESLegends Twitter pages might have gotten a peek at this card early. For everyone else, They’re pleased to introduce Hulking Mummy!

The first thing that stands out about Hulking Mummy is its impressive stats. 6/6 is massive for a 4-magicka creature, even topping popular aggressive options like Bleakcoast Troll and Corrupted Shade. To balance out these mammoth stats, the Mummy does come with a downside: it shackles itself upon summon.

Not only will Hulking Mummy not be able to attack the turn you play it, like every creature without Charge in Legends, but it will have to wait an additional turn for the shackle to wear off. Hulking Mummy pairs very nicely with Dres Renegade, which removes shackle effects from the rest of your creatures. Additionally, shackle is removed by Silence, so you can use cards like Shadowfen Priest to let it attack sooner. There are even ways to utilize the mummy’s stats without even worrying about the shackles on it; simply giving it +0/+2 and Guard with a Skinned Hound could be enough to give your Aggro opponents a serious problem.
